Last April, RateNow made its tablets available to hospitals and nursing homes so that they could be used by patients isolated from the centers to communicate with their families via video call.

Currently there are more than 35 organizations in which RateNow has carried out this initiative, among them Barcelona Hospital, Asepeyo group, La Palma Hospital, Getafe Hospital, Asturias Gereontological Institute Group, Fuenlabrada Hospital and Mollet Hospital, managing to connect more than 3000 patients with their families thanks to RateNow tablets.

The centers are making a great effort to keep those affected motivated, and assure that the video call with their families is a high point of the day in this emergency context in which they cannot socialize.

This has been stated by the Manager of the Barcelona Hospital, Daniel Ramia, where the RateNow Conecta initiative has been carried out:

"One of the positive effects of this pandemic that we are suffering has been to receive enormous expressions of solidarity [...] One of them has been that of the RateNow company, which has given the hospital digital tablets to enable contact by videoconference between patients and their families [...] that, due to their age profile and being in isolation, would not have been able to have this human contact without initiatives such as the one that has been implemented RateNow. ”
